BohaiSea

Bohai Sea is a semi-enclosed sea located at the north of China, which has the unique advantage in both geology and resources. It is also an important receiving water body that captures the downstream impact from its surrounding Wider Bohai Sea Regions and supports the economical system.

Bohai Sea is a semi-enclosed shallow sea, consisting of Liaodong Bay, Bohai Bay, Laizhou Bay and central area. It is adjacent to three provinces (Shandong, Hebei and Liaoning) and two municipals (Beijing, and Tianjin). There are more than 40 rivers flowing into it, among which Huanghe River, Haihe River, Liaohe River and Luanhe River are the four main ones. Average runoff is 7.2×103 million m3 per year.
